Most of our homes probably have a nativity scene at Christmas time. They're sweet to look at. They also point us to two hugely important Christian truths: the central role of story in God's revelation to us; and the odd way in which vulnerability/humility/lowliness is combined with power/majesty/glory.  This story of Jesus, which begins with the manger scene, is going to be very different from every other story.
