Jesus continues to add to the Good Shepherd biblical theme with his telling of the shepherd who leaves the 99 sheep to go look for the one lost sheep. As Jesus offers these new twists to the story, he is also calling out some of his vocal opponents. And he is offering us a surprising--but encouraging!--way to think about repentance.
