In the Parable of the Prodigal Son, the father restores the younger brother and all seems to be well. But the older brother refuses to acknowledge his younger brother as 'brother'. And he even distances himself from his father in his resentment toward his father's accommodation of the younger brother. We look now at the father's attempt to usher the older brother back toward himself.
