We look this week at the core claim of Paul's overall theology. Throughout the Old Testament, the prophets spoke of the coming "Day of the Lord", when God would put all things right and make all things new. Paul's announcement is that this "New Creation" has begun in Christ.  Everything else Paul wants to say ultimately stems from this core (and revolutionary) idea.  If we understand this core idea, then we really do understand Paul.
